I hopped over to Wikipedia's official Twitter page. The administrator had retweeted a Wikimedia message reading:
We're having some technical issues, but our engineers are working on it. We'll be back soon!Yikes. It will be interesting to see how this story develops.
UPDATE: Just kidding. It's now working fine.
