Condoleeza Rice will not be Romney's VP

There are more rumors today that the Romney campaign is considering Condoleezza Rice, former secretary of state in the Bush administration, to be his vice presidential running mate. However fun as it might be to pair them up in our heads, I cannot see this coming into fruition. My top three reasons are below the jump.

Source.
First and foremost, the GOP has spent the last four to five years trying to make people forget that George W. Bush was, in fact, a Republican. Bush is still incredibly unpopular, as most Americans blame him for the economic downturn. Why would Romney want to associate himself with anyone the Bush administration?

Second, Condoleeza Rice is a moderate on social issues. She is in favor of granting LGBT Americans rights. She has decribed herself as "mildly pro-choice," causing anti-choicers to already start whining about these rumors. From Jill Stanek's blog:
Rice is “mildly pro-choice”. Is that like being “a little pregnant”? Do you really think Mitt wants to reopen the discussion about his views on abortion?
They're kind of right – Mitt Romney will want to shore up the evangelical base as much as possible, even if a more moderate candidate could help him win independents.

Last, Condoleeza Rice is black and doesn't toe the entire conservative line, which pretty much disqualifies her within the GOP without question.

UPDATE: Reason four.

UPDATE 2: Also, she doesn't want it.
